For many young men men living in under-served communities, the notion of obtaining admission or graduating from a university seems out of the question. The large gap between minority males and others exists before these young men start school and very probably continues throughout their lifespan. America is failing its young minority boys. In metropolitan ghettos, mid-sized townships across the country, schools have become holding tanks for populations of young boys who have a statistically higher probability of walking the corridors of prison than the halls of college. Across America, the problem of minority male achievement seems intractable. We fail our minority sons more than any other racial or ethnic group.

When it comes to exposing youth higher education, the earlier the better.  Minority males specifically need a boost, being the most underrepresented in colleges and universities. Beginning in January/2016, Next Level will start trips to all the HBUC’s in the nation. The trips will begin on the third Friday of each month and conclude on the following Sunday. We believe that exposure to the possibility, and awareness of a higher education is a sure way to beat the odds of these young men entering college. Please support this cause?
